The standard Nestroy edition (Historisch-kritische Ausgabe, hg. von Jürgen Hein, Johann Hüttner, Walter Obermaier u. W.E.Yates), Vienna 1977ff. (publisher of early volumes: Jugend und Volk; since 1996: Deuticke). So far 29 volumes have appeared, and the edition is scheduled to be complete by the Nestroy bicentenary in 2001.
Volumes in print are: "Nestroy im Bild"; "Briefe", and the following volumes of "Stücke": 1, 5, 6, 7/I, 7/II, 8/I, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17/I, 18/I, 18/II, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23/I, 23/II, 26/I, 27/II, 31, 32, 33, 34, 38.
The journal "Nestroyana" has been appearing since 1979 and is the main organ for publicizing new 'finds' in the field. It appears twice-yearly. The most recent volume was Vol. 16 (1996). It is published on behalf of the Internationale Nestroy-Gesellschaft by Verlagsservice und Lektorat Mag. Johann Lehner, Hegelgasse 21, A-1010 WIEN.
