Indicators to check

1. Headings with indicators [:x0:] should be under authority control. All books except some literature and fiction should have at lease one 6xx :x0:
2. Headings with indicators [:x2:]and [:x7:] will be retained but will not have authority work done at this time. "Unauthorized" will remain at the end of these headings. These are the only unauthorized headings that can be left on the record when they go the the lettering room.
3. Headings with indicators [:x4:] and any 690 [:xx:] should be deleted unless it deals with Mormon material, in which case, the book should be sent to Dale.
4. Headings with indicators [:x1:] are juvenile headings. The book should be sent to Gabriele or Janet.
5. Headings with indicators [:x3:], [:x5:] or [:x:6] should be deleted.
6. Records with 655 headings. First check to see if the 655 heading is established. If heading is not established talk to Robert Maxwell; who is creating this file.
