Access the Collections

Using the library catalog
To find more examples of English Bibles held by L. Tom Perry Special Collections in the library catalog, follow these steps:

1. Go to “Advanced Keyword Search.”

2. Select “HBLL Special Collections” on the “library” drop-down to limit your search.

3. Then, in the title tab, enter the following search string:
--“Bible English” to retrieve all English Bibles in the collections.

4. To search for a specific translation, enter a search string such as:
--“Bible English Authorized” or “Bible English Geneva”.

You may choose to further limit your search by publication date by entering the specific date or date range in the “pubyear” field.

Request Reading Privileges
Students and faculty with demonstrated research interests may access material at L. Tom Perry Special Collections. Patrons can request reading privileges online or in person at the Special Collections reference desk, 1130 HBLL.
