What is the Writing and Research Lab?

This lab was designed to provide one place for students to receive assistance in writing papers and/or finding sources for those papers.

 

Who Staffs this Lab?

Each lab is staffed by well-trained writing tutors and research assistants. You are free to get help from one or both depending on the needs of your paper.

 

What type of assistance can the Writing Tutors provide?

What type of assistance can the Research Assistants provide?

The research assistants are well trained in finding library and internet sources for a variety of topics and majors. They can also refer students to appropiate library reference desks to receive additional help.

 

Are these individual consultations with a tutor?

The Lab is designed for students to come work on their papers in a computer classroom and request assistance from the tutors as needed.

 

Is printing available in this lab?

Printing is available in these labs at the same cost as all other computer labs on campus.
