Artist's Statement

           This show is a reinvention of “The little engine that could”. In this version a small boy finds himself inside the story with the little engine. The boy helps the little engine through his struggle to get to the top of the hill. My reinvention of the tale allows children to see themselves in the story. This is a delightful tale that has enthralled children for decades.
