Art in the Library Program
The mission of the Art in the Library Exhibitions Program is to create a dynamic cultural center in the Lee Library, to foster intellectual and creative activities through the Visual Arts, and to act as liaison with other academic departments on campus.
The Art in the Library Committee's charge is to:
- Coordinate art exhibitions in the library, in connection with the Lee Library Exhibits Committee.
- Provide a venue for BYU Visual Arts students and visiting artists to exhibit their work.
- Coordinate the location of art works throughout the Library.
- Recommend acquisitions of art works for the Lee Library. The focus of new acquisitions is to represent professional artists associated with the BYU Visual Arts program.
